Rules and Guidelines
1.
There will be 21 teams will be in the 15u division, 18 teams in
the 16U division and 36 teams in the 17/Open division.
2.
All games will consist of two 18 MINUTE HALVES. The clock will
run for the first 15 minutes of each half except for time-outs
and shooting fouls. The last 3 minutes of each half is STOP
TIME. Teams shoot 1 an 1 on the 10th foul and 2 shots on the 13th
foul. The CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES AND SEMI-FINAL GAMES WILL HAVE 3
OFFICIALS WITH STOPPED CLOCK FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ONLY.
Player's will receive 6 personal fouls before disqualification.

Each team gets three 30 second time-outs per game. One
additional timeout is added to any remaining timeouts for each
overtime period. If overtime is necessary, it will be 3 minutes
and 5 minutes in the championship games. Each team will receive
one additional 30-second timeout. If a second overtime is
needed, it will be Sudden Death first point wins. Championships
games will be 3 minutes. All other rules are High school
federation rules unless covered by these exceptions.

The first team listed on schedule will be the Home Team and
should wear a lighter color uniform. FORFEIT TIME is 10 MINUTES
with the TEAM ON THE COURT BEING AWARDED THE WIN. And a +15
point differential

Player’s ARE allowed to play in more than 1 age group PROVIDED
it is within the SAME ORGANIZATION for and the player is on the
original roster submitted for the coaches packet and in the
books BEFORE the game starts. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS
RULE!!! The player must play in at least 1 pool play game in
order to be eligible for the play-offs. VIOLATORS WILL
AUTOMATICALLY BE GIVEN A FORFEIT FOR ALL GAMES THAT THE PLAYER
PLAYS WITH THE “2ND” ORGANIZATION FOR THAT WEEKEND.
6.
Pool Play will consist of either three or four teams who will
play each other once. In the 15U, 16U & 17U/Open
Division, the top team in each pool will advance to the playoffs while
the 2nd and 3rd place teams IN THE
15&16U divisions will receive a consolation game to fulfill
their 3 game guarantees.
7.
In the event of a tie in Pool Play we will use the following Tie
Breakers in this ORDER OF PRIORITY: a) Head to Head Play...then
b) Point Differential, how much you COLLECTIVELY won by minus
how much you COLLECTIVELY lost by (15 pt. max per game) d) If
there is still a tie AFTER using these 3 tie-breakers the 4th
criteria will be fewest points allowed amongst the teams
INVOLVED in the tie. e) If needed the final criteria will be a 3
minute stop time play-off. Please be reminded that we use these
tie breakers in the above mentioned order. If the tie is settled
after using the first priority there will be no need to go the
2nd priority. If the tie is settled after using the 2nd priority
there will be no need to use the 3rd priority ....and so on.
8.
Mercy Rule – If a team is up by 30 points or more with 4
minutes or less remaining on the clock, the game will
AUTOMATICALLY BE stopped.
9.
If a coach or player is ejected from the game he/she is
suspended from the next game unless overruled by tournament
director.
10.
All rules not covered by this list will be decided by the
tournament director.
11.
All games on Sunday will
be either playoff on consolation games. Every letter indicates
the winner of the pool unless it has 1st or 3rd
in front of it. ALL GAMES starting at 10:35 will have three
officials everything else is two officials. The VS in between
the pool letters stands for versus. (Because someone will ask)
12.
YOU WILL NOT GET ON THE FLOOR IF YOU HAVE AN OUTSTANDING BALANCE
AND/OR YOU DO NOT SUBMIT A COMPLETE ROSTER. A COMPLETE ROSTER
CONSISTS OF PLAYER NAME, JERSEY #, HEIGHT, GRADE & HIGH
