LEAGUE RULES:

-          Games will be played on weeknights at 6pm, 7:10pm, 8:20pm and 9:30pm
- All teams are guaranteed  8 games

-          The top 8 teams enter post season play

-          Each team’s roster may contain only players from within your school pyramid. The only exceptions would be for players moving into your pyramid from out of town- HS League ONLY

-          Teams will be expected to provide their own jerseys to play in. It would be easiest if all teams wore reversible pennies. Each team is expected to provide one person to either operate the game clock or keep score

-          In order to avoid forfeits, each school should send, along with their application, the dates and times that the Coach already knows the school would be unable to play on

-          The game may begin with four players, no less. If the fifth player does not show up by the beginning of the 2nd half, a forfeit will be declared. Also, when there is less than four players, the officials will wait 10 minutes from the scheduled start of a game before declaring a forfeit for the first game only

-          Games are 32 minutes long, with two 16 minute halves

-          Each team is allowed four timeouts, two for each half. There is no carryover from first to second half

-          Half time will be 3 minutes.

-          Players fouled in the act of shooting will shoot 2 free throws. No 1 on 1s will be
shot. Free throws for common fouls will be awarded when the opponent reaches 10, and then 2 shot fouls will be administered

-          Overtime, the first overtime is 3 minutes if the score is tied at the conclusion of the first overtime teams will go into sudden death where first point wins free throws count.

-          At the conclusion of the game make sure that

-          A. players have cleaned up after themselves, no trash to be left in the bench area.

-          B. Identify in the score book, who won the game.

-          Remember that all decisions made by the officials on the floor are final, there are no protests.

SCORES ARE TO BE EMAILED TO ARIZE@HOOPMAGICSA.COM BY THE END OF THE NIGHT

If a player, or coach, is ejected from a game or receives 2 or more technical fouls
they will be suspended from their teams next scheduled game.
