HMSA is an indoor sports facility with six high school regulation basketball courts as well as an NBA/NCAA basketball court that can be used alternatively for volleyball or other indoor activity. We also offer a variety of weight equipment, elliptical, treadmills, and exercise bikes. HMSA features a Northrop Grumman Technology Center with 25 state of the art computers that is open to students on Tuesday and Thursday during the school year (no summer tutoring free) for tutoring with a GMU student for free. does coming into HMSA is a private facility open to the
public we offer drop-ins, memberships and day passes. Once you come into
the facility and pay using on of three methods previously listed
customers will receive a wrist band that should be worn the entire time
in the facility. This band will give customers the ability to go in and
out for the whole day/night. If the band breaks while in the building
customers should take the broken band to the front desk immediately to
get a new band free. If a band is broken and lost the customer is
responsible for repaying their admission fee in order to obtain a new
wristband. What
is a Drop-In? At HMSA we refer to customers coming in to use the facility a drop-in. There are currently two types of drop-ins available to customers daily and lunch. Our lunch time drop-in is between 11am-3pm in which customers will pay a discount rate of $5 for admission. While our daily drop-in is every hour other than the time slot previously listed for an admission fee of $6. For a $10 fee customers have drop-in access to fitness equipment as well as court facilities. Click on the membership button to your left to get a full listing of membership plans and pricing. HMSA offers a variety of pass a 7-Day, 15-Day, and 30-Day pass. These passes can be purchased at our front desk. The unique thing about the passes is that they don’t have to be used within a certain time period, but can be used at personal leisure. You can even bring a guest in with the pass. They are the most cost effective packages for customers paying daily or lunch admission every visit. Do
you rent out courts? Yes, HMSA rents out every full court in the facility only at the top of each hour (no half and hour rentals or half court). is not allowed in the facility? HMSA is a NO GUM facility and persons
chewing gum will be asked to throw it out or, if not, politely asked to
leave. We don’t allow anything but water to be consumed on our courts,
all other foods or beverages must be kept in the concession area. If a
customer is unable to keep food in the concession area they will be
asked nicely to leave with no refund. No outside food orders are allowed
