Fall 2008 Season Photo Highlights October - December 2008
The
Hoop Magic Adult Basketball League
consists of
two (2) Divisions
both playing 8 regular season games with the top 16 teams in each
division advancing to the playoffs. The games are officiated based on
NCAA rules.

A Division Week #3 Recap: There were many exciting games during the third week of games in the A division. Still undefeated the Summer Division Champion DLT Solutions and Pick n Roll maintained their excellent play against very good competition.
Newcomer Across the Bridge (loaded with Talent) has already told me to their name as the new king of the hill. Lets see if this is the true vision or just a mirage! Just a reminder many teams play for the championship but only two teams enter and one team is crowned CHAMPION!
As we have seen in the past early front runners almost never end up in the championship game. Three time (3X) Division Champions Flavas are looking to capture their fourth (4th) league championship but the road might be a little hard this time as the league competition level has step up. Teams to beware of Tha City, That Mob and of course Commish All-Stars............

B Division Week #3 Recap: Polk High started off the night with a key victory over SPC Old Boys, the victory put Polk High in the playoff picture. After game #2 Net Nets is a team to watch out for, this week they defeated former champions CARFAX in a tough game.
The surprise of the night was the thrashing newcomer Pick n Roll gave Run n Gun. Pick n Roll scored the highest points this season (104) against a very good veteran team. I truly hope that Run n Gun gets over this loss. Commish All-Stars defeated last season champions Baileys in a well played game. The score went back and forth as both teams played for positioning throughout the contest. League veterans Rubber Duck and HSP were victorious, but don't sleep on Thundercats! In the late contest Grumpy Old Men battled Flying Squirrels in a close victory.
